How satisfied are you with this response? You took the hard drive out of the Compaq Presario and put it in your dell latitude d which your friend gave you, Right? Can you elaborate on that a little bit for me please?

I removed all the old driver software from the old machine and made sure to install the new chipset and device drivers and all took very well except for 1. The thing is on that hard drive you got all of your drivers that were on your Compaq go into the driver settings and update the driver and it should install a driver for your dell latitude d In reply to Palcouk’s post on May 9, However, a device is a device and there are drivers available for the hardware from the manufacturer which is exactly where I got the drivers from.
Dell, for your model doesn’t supply win7 drivers, and as its a laptop the individual hardware makers drivers, eg graphics wont work either. Tell us about your experience with our site.
